Is it possible to share music outside of my local network ?
At the moment Apple has locked this feature, so the simple answer is "no". Perhaps
you can find products that re-implement this feature, or perhaps I'll make it available in
a future version, but not for now.
I can't enable publication, the button goes back to "Publish"
Be aware that you have to change the TCP port set in preferences in order
to use iTunes integrated sharing and MusicPublisher at the same time. Try to set it to 3690.
I get a new item in the iTunes playlist, but the songs don't play

try to change the port in the preferences
