I found this very simple geeklet that will make your mac say a string or play an mp3 at start up
http://www.macosxtips.co.uk/geeklets/sy ... -start-up/
Code: Select all
say hey Apple, how are you??

afplay /Users/fikrferd/Documents/enter-mac.mp3

I want to combine it with this with geeklet that displays text in weather from a website.
http://www.macosxtips.co.uk/geeklets/we ... weather-2/
The code is:
Code: Select all
curl -s 'http://thefuckingweather.com/?zipcode=glasgow&REMEMBER=checked&CELSIUS=yes' | grep '"content\|"remark\|span' | sed 's/<[^>]*>//g' | sed 's/°/°/'

So basically I want my Mac to read me the F****** weather whenever I start it up. Any ideas?

Thanks in advance!
