latest geektool 3 on snow leopard- when dragging a shell on to the desk top there is nothing displayed- just a grey empty box?

Did you actually setup a shell script in the inspector ?

Maybe the inspector does not come up ? If this is the case, please take a look at console log and send me the output.

Also, what version are you using ?

all I can get to is the prefs pane- where is the console log? all I get is a grey blank rectangle labelled properties, with Geeklet settings written in the centre- everything else is unresponsive. screenshot attached.

You actually dragged the Geeklet on the desktop ?

What is displayed in Console application ?

I too have this problem. Empty geeklet on the desktop. I dragged the 'image' geeklet. I am currently running Pathfinder .. I know this has caused weird issues with desktop things before? Coudl it be part of the problem?

Sure ! GeekTool and PathFinder are not compatible
